I play in a Hard Rock / Metal band and we wanted to try to have some freedom for the Vocalist. We saw that this wireless is an entry level wireless from AGK and we wanted a price that if we finally don't use it for the band, it's not a big deal, we could use it for some backing vocals or something else. Surprisingly our vocalist is verry happy with it, it captures the vocals perfect and we will procceed to another better and more expensive wireless microphone only if the band makes a big step to play in a stadium for example. For band jamming, normal stages and halls this is perfect. Finally, i want to mention that as a guitarist, i purchased from Thomann an " AKG Single Pro Guitar Wireless set" ten years ago and all these years i use it without any problem. As a mucisian i trust AKG after so many gigs and Jams. Even their Low Price products are very reliable. Fair purchase.

I can't believe it's so cheap

It'a very cheap mic, and it is so good! I bought a 250e Senheisser along with this one, and in terms of sound quality they are even.
Drawbacks are that you can hear handling noise because of plastic housing, and also there is some boom noise when you turn it on. Range is beautiful, no resonance. It's a good mic.

Also note, that it plugs only a 6.3mm jack, and no XLR, I haven't noticed it and haven't ordered a cable for it, so had to buy one at the local store, but it's my fault of course.

EDIT: After some gigging I noticed that the receiver is interfering with some mobile phones. You can notice it even when the transmitter is off, the receiver is picking up random signals, and it sometimes shoots some nasty audio output. Not nice.

For what its worth, this microphone is phenomenal for the price. You can't beat it. Its does exactly what it says on the box and at gigs its the perfect tool for roaming around and entertaining people. One fault is the design...feels like cheap plastic but its robust all the same. And mic clip? Usually a standard with most mic sets (at least with Shure anyway).

All in all a great buy and its incredible value for money. The added bonus it the interchangeable plug adapters. Very clever :)

Very useful little microphone, good for entertainer & DJ
Clear sound, and good work range.
Cheap construction and plastik, but this is not a problem.
I use this product approx two years in different situations and weather conditions - it works and works!
Recomended !
