I've had this desk for about 6 months now. This is probably the best studio desk I've ever used. First up, it arrived on a wooden palette heavily packaged (like, really heavily packaged) and all parts were flawless. If you've ever built Ikea furniture then you'll have no problem with this, but building it alone was fairly challenging. The panels are so heavy and solid. I got through most of it on my own, but for the final stages of assembly I needed someone else to help me lift the panels into place, and turn the desk right-side up. Too heavy to do by myself.
In terms of daily usage, this thing is a beast. It's so heavy and solid that there's absolutely zero sideways wobble or movement - rock steady. There are lots of nice little thoughtful design touches to it which I love, and appreciate everyday: the front edge of the tabletop is nicely curved for comfort on your forearms, the angle of the cable tray on the underside is just perfect for you to get visibility and access to the back of your rack gear from underneath, and I recently discovered that the rack mounts have just the right amount of gap between the bottom of your rack gear and the desktop surface, allowing you to squeeze through some cables if you need to get them neatly from the back to front-mounted jacks. And finally, personally I find the height of the riser platform just perfect for my monitors to sit at just the right height to my ears, and my screen to sit directly in front.
I've thought hard, but I can't find fault at all in this desk's design and construction. Highly recommended!!
