The warmth of this fuzz is really pleasing to the ear. The controls are easy to understand and add a lot of possible 'colors' to the final sound when trying different configs (which is not true with so many other fuzz pedals).

I use this pedal for guitar.
Unique fuzz with a ton of low end and fizzy sounds to explore.
If you add an EQ-Pedal to the chain,
I use the Boss GE-7, it will be the only fuzz pedal you'll ever need.

Woolly Mammoth Fuzz

Very sturdy built pedal which I take will last a long time. It's definitely not a mild fuzz even in the lowest settings, but that wasn't what I was looking for either. There's plenty of controls to get the sound you wish for, however, I find myself adjusting the knobs for quite a while some times. I've mainly used this for bass and the low end seems to be well preserved. When playing I noticed that the pedal had some type of noise gating happening in between notes and after googling it, that was indeed the case (I did not notice this before purchasing the pedal). Anyhow, the gating works quite well and is affected by the pinch knob setting. Overall, a great pedal for some distinct fuzz and also extreme sounds if you so wish.
