It's not surprise...

Similar to the alto version, this is a very good mouthpiece. The hard rubber 7CM has a somewhat warmer and softer sound, compared to the 7C (which is made of plastic). It is maybe slightly brighter than 7C. It's very easy to make a sound. The manufacturing quality is superb. It was tried with a fairly solid cheap Chinese soprano saxophone. I believe that paired with one of the Yamaha soprano saxophones, it would give a convincingly better result. The rating is a very solid 4. Recommended.
