Can't live without now - but it loses signal
Anonymous 05.12.2022
Sadly, it does. Plug into a Line6 Helix at my feet (and then into guitar amp or PA), I'd say that it loses 10% of the gain, or even more. Like having the preamp gain dropping from 6/10 down to 4/10.
Is it annoying? When you run out of battery during a rehearsal or a gig, and suddenly the feedback screams, yes it is annoying.
Should it prevent you from buying it? To me, not at all! I won't go back to having a cable wrapped around my legs, thank you. Besides, this thing is tiny and weighs nothing. And the battery lasts longer than the declared 5 hrs. Sure, there's no way you will be warned when it wears off (and it does so abruptly), but I can't think of a way it could.

In conclusion, I will happily use this thingy until I find something of the same size that does not lose signal, and does not cost an arm and a leg...

free to move

For years, I kept stepping on my cables with various ill effects. Decided to give these a try and I'm mostly very satisfied as they do give real freedom of movement, both just strumming at home and on stage. The only minus is they don't seem to like the jack on my acoustic guitar, they startled crackling horribly and I was forced to go back to the cable - so keep one in your gig bag! They're fine with all my electrics, though...

Easy to use, but

... sound is different than when using both my own and a friend's cables. Kind of similar to switching from tubes to transistors - perhaps higher frequencies are more prevalent now?
Its not unpleasant, just different (and I still use them, prefering them to 'cablesound' in most cases now). But be aware you might need some fiddling if you expect a particular sound.

Simply amazing wireless
Rocky_L 27.10.2018
Really good for it's price! I chose this over Line 6 G50, because of simplicity. No difference in tone compared to cable. And great range also. I could recommend this to anyone looking for a wireless system. For gigs, band practices, or at home.

EDIT: I found out that 2.4 GHz WI-FI antennas cause some interference, and if someone uses the same units on stage as yours (even if they are on different channel), it can also cause some interference, but not all the time.

Very neat and portable. make sure you're getting the one with 4 bands selectable. There is a single band one but the 4 band one is more flexible. and nt much cheaper.
