The best price/quality ratio
Anonymous 23.05.2016
I think these strings sound great, when they are new. The wear off probably faster than some more expensive ones, but I don't care. I prefer buying new strings often and at this price, I afford it. I am not one of those guys, who buys expensive strings and boils them in alcohol for 3 years, to prolong their life cycle :) They are really cheap and that's why I think it is hard to beat the price/quality ratio here.
I really appreciate the 0,25 string. You usually get 0.32 or 0.30 for the C string, but I think 0,25 is easier to play, bend, etc.

I always buy the stainless steel series. For rock, metal, I think they sound much better than the nickel, because they have this high frequency ring, which helps to cut through the mix, but of course, that is just a matter of taste.

For "Verarbeitung", I cannot give full-score, because it happened a couple of times, that one string in the set had a defect, but hey... for that price it can sometimes happen. I didn't even bother to ask for a replacement.

so glad i found these strings. all bass players know that we can spend a fortune on bass strings over the years, these string are good quality and well priced. i have had them on my bass for the last couple of months and the tone is still holding out well. i have 6 basses so i will be ordering these strings again to keep expenses down, and the volume up!!!

Strange but true, my favorite strings
Anonymous 09.09.2014
I tried most of the expensive brands and I always end up using these Warwicks. They're bright, right tension and easy to find. The only cons are they won't last long and the fact they're not as precise as the big bucks string and they can give you small intonation problems BUT I always prefer to use them and change them often instead of spending ?30 and keeping the set on for 2 months.

Best cheap strings
Anonymous 17.03.2016
I'd say these are the best strings for a fiver by far at this price. I've tried several different sets that ar double the price but not worth it.

Soundwise the strings are quite bright and crunchy, so if you're into bassy thumpy sound then these might not be for you.

I've been using warwick's for several years now, never snapped on me, so quite durable aswell.
