Soldering on jack plug failed!

A highly priced product so you'd expect high quality. Used mine sparsely in the studio - perhaps ten times in 4 years - before it developed a loose connection. Disappointing given the high cost.

Is this really better, could it actually be worse?

I really wanted to like this cable, especially having spent so much money on it but so far, using it with various sources, the verdict is poor - it might actually dull the high freqs and sound muted. It seems better results can be had with a simple instrument cable. So will I be buying this way again? No.
