Also erst mal 400GB für die Std. Drum Sounds und 2 Addons. Are you kidding me?
Leider ist "mehr" nicht immer "mehr".
Das Prinzip von SD3 sind die zig unterschiedlichen Mikrofonierungen. Die klingen auch alleine meistens ganz nett, ABER ... was bringt es den Raum mit hunderten von Gigabyte vermikrofoniert zu haben, wenn die restlichen Instrumente im Song nicht in diesem Raum / Studio aufgenommen wurden und einen ganz andere Akustik haben. Von daher ... echt völlig für die Füße der Kauf.
Bin direkt nach einer Woche wieder auf mein altes Steven Slate Drums 4 umgestiegen. Super einfach zu bedienen, viel bessere Snares!!! und die Kits passen viel besser zu meinem Mix. LEIDER stellte sich Tontrack querr, was die Rückgabe betrifft. Von daher spart euch das Geld und holt euch liebe der SSD 5.5

Toontrack hat hier ordentlich vorgelegt an Qualität. Der Superior Drummer player ist intuitiv gestaltet. Vor allem das Gretsch Kit in der Standard library gefällt mir sehr gut.
Mit den Decades Erweiterung sind auch authentische vintage vibes realisierbar. Der Raum klingt enorm gut.
Kritikpunkte:
-keine Möglichkeit komplexere Rhythmen im Grid einzugeben und zu quantizieren. (superior player)
-wenige grooves im Bereich Jazz und Fusion (vor allem aber fehlen mir grooves, die auch Spezialbereiche abdecken: irreguläre Metren, Polyrhythmen, etc.)
- das eingespielte Daten nicht in dem player auftauchen (Midi Noten)
-benötigt sehr viel Speicherplatz
