Best for the price.

This xylophone's sound is so great! I've been using it for 4 years now and it's still like new, because it's very durable. I bought it because i started learning in music school and now i can play on xylophone like master. I like that it has got 3.5 octaves not only 3 as other this price and quality xylophones. Only the mallets that came with it was too loud in my opinion, but you can definitely play with them if you dont have any other ones. I would reccomend getting better mallets if you buy this xylophone. For the price, it's the best.

A beautiful instrument. Solid and well-crafted. The keys all ring true, except for the bottom G, which has a slightly out of tune overtone. I'm hoping I can get a replacement for it. All the other notes are fine, and it's a very playable instrument. A pair of mallets is provided, in case you are wondering.

Quality>Price - a nice xylophone for home use.

Leave it to Thomann to give us better quality products for an affordable price, if I wanted to buy this in a music shop, it'd probably exceed it's value and Thomann's price a lot. I had this xylophone for a long time (5 years now) and I didn't have any problems with it. It's nice for recording, and rehearsal, but I would recommend a better one for a concert - allthough it wouldn't be bad for a small gig - (one with resonators (or whatever they're called)).
