Durable lightweight protection
Adamantium 09.12.2019
I use this backpack personally for my Akai MPC Live, it has enough extra room to accommodate cables and I can even fit in (with a bit of a squeeze) my laptop or a small midi keyboard (Akai MPKmini).

I would say that the quality of this backpack is great and the design is also user friendly and well thought out.
My only problem with this backpack is that it is really only a light protection.
I suppose it is fair to say you can only expect so much from something that is not made of metal - however it provides enough protection to put me at ease when transporting my MPC or laptop from place to place.

Overall I would give this backpack 4 out of 5 stars on the basis that it does provide a good level of protection, it is lightweight and has a good amount of room.

Nice but not amazing
nielsvdleest 15.01.2019
I bought this bag to house my mini eurorack skiff so I take it with me safely. The bag is for the largest part protection so this a good thing when you're carying around valuable stuff.
The protective interior is however not very tidy.
You'd excpect by looking at the bag that it's right angled but it slopes a bit to the centre. Leavingyou with a smaller space at the bottom then what you have in the top of the bag.

Upside to this bag is the amount of little pockets you have in and around the bag. Perfect for dongles, power bricks, cables, ipad and what not.

I'm happy with the purchase and would reccomend the bag to anyone wanting to take more then their laptop with them.

Its good BUT

I'm on my 3rd one. The straps keep ripping! My gear is a bit heavy but not enough to warrant the straps tearing off.

Other then that its a great bag for the price.

Great all-rounder
aftino 03.08.2018
It's an extremely sturdy all-round, carry-all, pick-and-pack backpack.

It's built like a tank and - without absurd levels of abuse - will probably be lasting for a good 2-3 years.

I'm using it to regularly (3-4 times a week) lug around my Elektron Digitakt & Digitone alongside cables, headphones & PSUs with a bit of room to spare for other small accessories as well.

My only (albeit small) gripe with this item is that under a heavy load (i.e. Waldorf Blofeld Desktop & Korg Kaossilator Pro+ & Novation Circuit) the slightly narrow straps kind-of start cutting into the tops of my shoulders after a 20-minute walk.

Overall, a really sturdy and rugged piece of luggage: properly thick outer layer, thick inner-padding and lots of small pockets and additional storage spaces.

Holds a lot of stuff, not that comfortable on the back.
weezul 27.06.2019
I used this for the first time flying (have used it locally for years) international to go record in south of france from the UK. The bag was perfect for taking a lot of stuff I needed, used it as carry on so I could keep all my gear with me.
However, walking around with it on your back, hanging around in the airport etc... it's not that comfortable. It does the job though. Build quality seems fine but after that weekend, definitely took a little hit in terms of stability.

A great idea and loads cheaper than similar products
Anonymous 06.06.2016
I use this to carry my 15" macbook retina (ignore the guy who said it wouldn't fit a 15" laptop. It totally does)
Along with this, I also put in it my focusrite saffire pro 24, the adapter and a host of cables. In the past I've also put in it a small keyboard and a folder.

It's a useful piece of kit, the quality is not amazing but reasonable for the price. Pockets everywhere which makes it easy to have a system in place so you can get all your go-to wires/headphones out without searching through a nest of cables.
Also plenty of padding which is useful for protecting your costly equipment and the strap options mean that carrying with 1 or 2 hands is a breeze.

Protective

I use this bag to transport my GR55, mics and cables. It has 2 compartments and the part that divides the 2 compartments is not removable, so it is just loke you see it in the pictures. It is quite sturdy and well padded, a must have if you carry around delicate stuff that need protection.

Great bag, ok stitching
GKID 27.05.2020
This bag has seen very heavy usage, however, I find it hard to utise the front pockets due to how thin they are and how rigid the bag itself is. Also, some stitching came free on one of the staps after *a lot* of use, which hasn't made the bag unusable or anything, just a mind inconvenience.
