High-tech fret job

As my Lakewood Custom D-32 needed a fret job, I decided to give the new Plek Service a try, and I don't regret it. I checked the details beforehand with the service team and sent them my guitar in a nice big padded parcel. I soon got a notification from Thomann that the instrument had arrived savely, which calmed my nerves quite a bit.

After the fretboard was measured and it was clear that no new frets were needed, the Plek-machine did a wonderful job in levelling the old frets and giving my guitar a wonderful low action and perfect intonation. Playability has also improved compared to the original factory setup. Obviously Thomann have got them a really cool new machine and the people who know how to use it.

Maybe the service is a bit pricey for a new instrument, but if you need a fret job anyway, I would definitely recommend it.

I live in the USA and due to the covid virus I really don't go out as much.
I always wanted to learn to play so I went on line to see what I could find . I did not get the first guitar I saw, I search for awhile and then I found Thomann music and their harley benton line they were the only online site that i found that offered the plek service. so i found the guitar I wanted it is the Harley Benton Fusion-T HH HT LH EB BK.
As I said I am a beginner and I want to give myself the best I could afford without spending a lot of money , and that's what thomann did
Just to be clear I know nothing about guitars but my son who's been playing for over 10 years and was a little mad at me for not asking him for his opinion. But when I handed him the guitar he was greatly surprised at the quality of the guitar and the plek setup. So as far as I am concerned i could not have gotten a better deal on a guitar and setup as I have gotten from thomann music

My Fender American Special is now more playable with much less buzz. Made appointment a few days in advance, I came back after 3 hours and the guitar was ready. Will do some more guitars at first next possibility.

Good Service, Frets Properly leveled at last.

Fixed the badly finished frets on my brand new Les Paul back which I purchased from Thomann in 2016. Gibson claim they PLEK all their guitars in their own facility, but judging by how badly finished the new guitar I purchased was, I doubt the machines are calibrated properly. Thomann's Plek service resolved the issues but they still made me pay for the service and I would not buy another expensive guitar from this company or another new Gibson again. Shoddy Manufacturing from Gibson and Shoddy After sale care from Thomann.

Perfect set-up

The title says it all.
I asked Thomann to set-up my ES330 and they did it to perfection, with low action, and solved a buzzing issue not coming from frets.
And they sent it to me back in perfect condition !
One word, Perfect.
