Good quality but...

I was wanting a mallet for larger Tibetan bowls. However although this is medium to large, the wood is of a light weight, so it does not play large bowls well. One needs a mallet heavy in weight (i.e. a dense hard wood) to play these bowls well.

Far better than the standard mallets

With the Thomann singing bowls, you get mallet which does an average job, This mallet is much better and definitely worth the money for the improved response and ease of rubbing.

Fantastic mallet - rubber (instead of leather) means non-slip! Gets a beautiful tone from my bowls

Beautiful finish, a pleasure to hold

Really nice puja, lovely light wood finish. Perfect leather wrap with no seams. Suits a medium to larger bell well.
