A bargain strap that does its job.
dcalde78 09.04.2018
This strap came in a starter kit containing a number of things. For the price, it does its job well enough. It's not the most comfortable, and for some reason the ends of mine had hard plastic splinters coming out of it that I would always catch against my fingers when taking off my bass guitar. If you're in a pinch it will do the job, but I think it's worth spending the extra money and going for an Ernie Ball nylon strap or something similar. The ends are better quality, the nylon itself is softer and more flexible and is much longer than this.

At the end of the day it does what it says on the tin and holds your guitar on you. But there's better that you can buy, and I would suggest doing that.

It gets the job done
Anze 16.04.2024
I bought this strap for my son to get familiar with guitar, so I basically mounted strap locks on it since we got it. It gets the job done. The price couldn't get any lower I suppose.
The downside is that it's not comfortable and can get in a way, can have/leave that scratchy feeling on a shoulder,... I'm used to larger, more comfortable straps, but the price paid for them was a lot higher.

Kept slipping off

It was comfortable strap but the gentlest nudge and it would fall off the guitar so I replaced with a more expensive one which works well

Above Average

First of all, kudos to Thomann for their fast, precise and amazing delivery times and quality. Their boxes and packs are always top notch.

The nylon strap came along my first bass, and of course you couldn't ask more for the price, it does its job, it's carefully built, it stands long sessions of practice and even a live gig, but of course it doesn't get as comfortable like fabric or leather ones.

Useful as a war strap for practice, above average.

Not a permanent solution, especially for a chonky instrument
LargeBakedPotato 29.08.2021
For a bass weighing a tad over 4 kilos, this won't cut it long term. It gave me shoulder pains after longer play sessions. The nylon fabric is also quite weak and the leather ends slip off the buttons if you're a bit rowdy. If you're using a large instrument, better to invest in a broader, probably leather strap

This came as an accessory in the bundle. It looks and feels like a seat belt.

Entry level approach, just enough for the scope.
Michael Polimeneris 16.05.2021
I'm facing difficulty to plug it, especially at the rear hanger-button at the bottom of the guitar. Lesser effort to the other end at the neck-body junction, due to its position. The cut-slot extension of the hole doen't help very much. But I did it only for 2-3 first times, later with the usage maybe will become wider/losen, hence easier.
I've seen another similar product recently, having 3 slots on the leather esge of the strap, in order to hold 3 picks, which I found convenient.
A good idea (and suggestion) for HB's product made by Levy at CA, as mentioned.

Spares

I think that its always a good idea to have a spare of everything whether your gigging or a student or even a teacher in a school /music college.
These straps are fine and if you get caught out and forget/lose or break your main strap, its a real good idea to pick up one of these from Thomann and have it in your gig bag.
