Strong, well padded gig bag
Shecks 13.09.2017
I bought this gig bag for my ESP LTD B205SM 5 string bass guitar.

The material used to make the gig bag is
very strong and the main zipper is quite
substantial so it should last a very long
time with little chance of tearing or splitting.

Inside the bag the bass is well protected by the foam padding (stitched inside the lining) which provides approx. 1/2 inch of padding on all sides of the bass.

As noted by other reviews the bag is a little on the large side (The overall length is about 51 inches). In the case of my ESP bass (which has a 34 inch scale length) there is about 5-6 inches of space between the top of the bag and the top of the head stock.

While this doesn't cause any issues in general used it may be a concern for anyone looking for a more compact gig bag or where there are space restrictions during transportation. Certainly, a bag specifically designed for a particular bass would be a lot more compact and a tighter overall fit.

There are 4 pockets of various sizes on the outside of the case so there's plenty
of storage options for accessories. The larger A4 sized pocket would be perfect
for tab/song books etc. There is even a small pocket to hold an ID card or owner
contact information similar those found on travel bags and suitcases.

The bag has a set of carrying handles with a "leather like" grip that can be Velcro'd closed making it very comfortable to carry. There are also two strong shoulder
straps provided should you wish to carry you bass on your back.

Overall I think the gig bag is extremely high quality, well made and very good value for the price.

I would recommend this gig bag to others.

K
Very reliable product for it's price

USE
Ordered this gig-bag to carry my bass to/from rehearsals. It's not the slim one in shape, so might get you some troubles if you cycling on your rehearsals and gigs, but in case you have enough space in your 300 eur old car to carry your 3000 eur bass - it's a perfect match.
Material it's made quite solid and should last for long

R
Great larger bass bag
Raymond588 15.12.2017
I needed a bag to protect a Burns bass that I owned which was slightly longer than the average bass guitar. Unfortunately the only case it would fit into was the special Burns case which was far too expensive for me. I had tried several gig bags, but each one was just a little on the small side. Then I saw this Thomann E Bass Gigbag Delux and the measurements given seemed that my Burns would fit it ok. I ordered it with some other stuff I needed and as the cost came to just over 199 Euros, my 24 Euro case was delivered free. When it arrived I was over the moon. The quality was excellent with plenty of pockets and one of them would even take my sheet music. After I sold my Burns, I am still using the same bag for my Fender Fretless and I feel very happy that it will be well protected with the 10 mm of padding inside the bag. For 24 Euros it is an absolute bargain. Go for it.

It's good, not the best but it'll do the job.

In terms of quality the case seems great. The stitching feels firm and it's tidy, can't complain that it doesn't look good.

There's plenty of padding which feels like it'll give you some protection from bumps, but it's not bulky so doesn't take up much space with a bass in (Harley Benton SBK). Got a couple pockets for storage, probably fit strings, tuner etc in there.

Only slight gripe is the design. It's basically designed like a guitar bag with no tailered fit applied, so you've got two padded sections that zip together over the bass. This has one tiny drawback when it comes to straps. If you've got a leather or other bulky strap you can't keep it attached as the zip won't do up (tested with HB pleather strap and couple others). Not massive inconvinence but if you've got rubber fret locks on you've got to pry them offf and unstrap it after use and vice versa everytime you get it out.

Overall though for the price a decent starter gig bag, it'll keep you bass reasonably safe and let you take it around without too much hassle.
