I've owned this particular gig bag for a while, and it's served me really well for the last few years I've owned. Aside from looking a bit grubby, a slight pitfall of the cream coloured tolex that forms the majority of the case.

The case itself is larger than it might seem. Easily large enough to hold a dreadnought, and fine for a Orchestra Model or Grand Auditorium model, guitars with lower bouts of 15 and 16 inches. For something smaller, be it a 00 sized guitar or a parlour guitar, this particular case might be a bit too large without the need of using a folded towel or something to provide a closer fit without the guitar moving around too much in the case.

When it comes to padding, the case is fairly robust, it definitely has a strong feel to it. More than enough protection for day to day home storage and for taking to gigs as well.

The guitar case is really well stocked for pockets as well. There are two at the lower bout of the guitar, one which is large enough for a A4 notebook, with a smaller one over that suitable for keeping strings, picks and other accessories. There's a pocket at the top of the case, near the headstock and it's about the size to keep a small dynamic microphone in a soft case if needs be.

Great case, it's served me well in the years for storing my guitar at home and for providing protection to rehearsals and a few gigs.

This is a GIG bag
JAPONfan 06.05.2020
Bough as Thomman suggested item in packet with HB D-120BK. And tight fit means TIGHT. YOu need to remove strap and neck rest for the guitar to fit. BUT the bag is great, ver well done, mutiple compartments with zippers. Front pocket had smaller ones inside sealed with velcro for tools and what-not. Very comfy wear on back and fit nice when hold in hand. Also the colors are big plus as it make spotting gear easier among, usuall, black bags and cases.

Beautiful & sturdy gigbag

If I had to recommend one item made under the Thomann name, it would be their gigbags.
What you get for the money has no equivalent elsewhere, at least in my experience. If you pay 5-10 euros more and go for the higher-grade Thomann gigbags, you really get more for your money, too, unlike in so many other places where it's not the case.
I suggest you get the gigbags around the 20 euro price point at least -- they offer a decent amount of padding hence adequate protection, unlike the cheapest ones.
My favorite are the light cream colored models which are well padded and made of long-lasting canvass-like materials. The most expensive ones seem to be using some kind of vinyl material which in my opinion and prejudice might degrade and flake off eventually, like so many rubber and plastic items containing PVC. But still, you can't go wrong with ANY Thomann gigbag over the 15 euro price point.

The best
chrisie friday 20.08.2021
This is by far the best bag I have ever had.
My pet hate are the back pack straps, I hate them, this bag has 2 nifty pockets were they are zipped up out of sight.
The bag has loads on storage for things like music, leads and stuff. There is a velcro strap to support the neck with a shaped yoke,I don't like the yoke but it's removable.

I just love the double colour and the embroidered Thomann logo.I use it for a Fender newporter leftie. It was recommended by Thomann.Maybe a bit over engineered, but that's what you need to protect your axe.

Very nice gigbag for the price.
Nurkapshenich 05.03.2023
Quite crisp looking bag, stiff and durable. I often go to little gigs in other towns for one or two days, so i don't want to bring my full sized clothe bag, and instead I often use gigbags to carry everything. It's 10 kg of stuff and the gigbag takes it like champ. Very robust, after months of abuse it didn't stretched, nothing ripped open, or fell of. It didn't even changed that much from the day one

quality sturdy gigbag

fantastic gigbag, thomann have really paid attention to detail with the finer nuances here. Such as the little feet on the bottom to not scuff the canvas, or the zip up pockets to put the back straps in if carrying by your side, this is a fantastic STURDY quality made gigbag, especially with how much protection it provides.

Good quality for the price
Dimevader 30.12.2017
The reason for the 5 star rating is because the price is really good compared to the quality. The 20 mm padding is really good and the neck rest is a really nice option.

In my opinion, the color isn?t that good, but the gigbag does its job protecting and transporting my guitar. So, who cares about design or color when your guitar is properly protected?
Plus, you can pay extra 5 Euros and get the premium model, in case you care about the looks.

Great fit for Guild acoustic
petermark222 01.06.2023
I bought this for a Guild OM-240E, and the fit is great. Very nice layout as well, for me it is more than enough, and i also like the colour, it is a littlebit funkier, than a boring black one.

For the price this is unbeatable (just as usual with thomann products.)
