I would recommend as a cheap option: good price/quality balance:

pros:
* thicker protective material than the original mandolin bag
* 1 extra pocket on the outside
* adjustable back straps
* good price

cons:
* seems a little bit big for my mandolin (Thomann Portuguese Mandolin 2-P)
* cannnot hold any sheets (no extra pocket & not big enough)

Mandolin fits perfectly and is not moving at all in the case.
Bag is made from very nice material. Zippers don't get stuck.
While travelling, fits on your back nicely.

Just bought this for my new A type mandolin.. fits snug as a bug.
I have a couple of other Thomann cases for guitars.. and like them, this is well made and well padded...It's a humble case, pure and simple and does it's job admirably.

Top quality. The bag fits my mandolin (just) perfectly. It is soft and feels strong. The padding is light and sufficient. The zipper works nice, no problems there.

For this price you can not fault.
