T.BONE SC400

I've been using this for a while now and I'm very impressed. Compared to a Shure I was using for vocal recording, the sound quality is great - much warmer and more rounded. Very pleased with it. Delivery etc were excellent as always.

Wow; what a good value for the price ! It looks nice, it's well built, the sound is awesome . I use it to record vocals, acoustic guitars, and even reamping sometimes; the TBone always gives convincing results !
Thanks Thomann !

LO
A great microphone for a fraction of the price
Luke Owen 03.06.2013
This microphone is essential to anyone recording vocals with a tight budget!

I have been recently been using this microphone to record vocals for youtube video and up until this point i can not find a single thing wrong with it. The T.Bone SC 400 is very simple to use, you simple attach it to your mixer, turn on the phantom power and start to record! The sound quality of the microphone is excellent for a microphone of its price although it can sound slightly distant compared to an expensive Shure or AKG vocal microphone.

I would recommend this microphone to anyone that is looking to get a cheap studio set up under a budget.

For the price you'd be hard pushed to find something better
Paul172 30.05.2013
This was my first condenser mic and I was astounded at the difference it made to my recordings.
It has great warmth and clarity (particularly matched with a tube pre-amp I got on a bundle).
Given that you get a shockmount in the asking price this is a great value investment.
I've used it on vocals, percussion and acoustic guitar. Of course, on percussion and acoustic guitar I have since had better results since with a small diaphragm condenser, but if you can only budget for one mic, then this will suit you perfectly.
In terms of durability, I dropped it on the floor repeatedly for 5 years until it finally gave up the ghost. For the price I reckon that's pretty good! (My new mic lives in a case in a drawer!)

T
This has to be one of the best microphones I have ever bought
ThatGuy 22.11.2013
I bought this when I was looking for a great microphone to record vocals. Having used other t.bone mics I thought it would be worth a go and it hasn't disappointed.

The sound is crystal clear, no distortion, doesn't seem to need a lot of gain. Vocals sound full however may be a little bright for some people. Sounds great on instruments as well as vocals. Would I buy another? Of course I would :)

For a bargain basement condenser I was amazed at the results, you get what you pay for? Much much more!
