A super in-ear headphone system
JoshuaC 27.08.2015
I play in an acoustic trip where we receive little sound back from our front of house speakers so we decided to buy into a monitoring system. We opted for the in-ear option instead of floor monitors to save our backs when transporting them. What a difference these things make! We bought 2 extra receiver packs as well. There is very little background noise coming from the system and the sound quality is very good. We have put the transmitter into our rack mount using the mounts provided and it has made it very portable. We are very pleased with this system. The headphones are good quality too. 2 of us have opted for the shure equivalent but the t-bones compete with them well. A great product.

A Good Product
Jack S. 14.05.2013
I bought this product as a trial really, I'm a drummer and thought I would try this along with a set of in ear headphones to aid my hearing. The quality of build is excellent, the finish on the pack and the transmitter unit is excellent and the bonus of rack mounts being supplied is great. My only disappointment is that the system struggle with bass, when the music has high bass levels it tends to lose the signal. However I think this is good as it protects your hearing, it could be countered by buying a butt kicker if you are a drummer but the range of sound available is still more than acceptable.

Best budget IEM
Anonymous 24.07.2014
This IEM system is fantastic value for money.

With 16 channels to choose from, for pub/club/function use, that's plenty.

It's easy to hook up the transmitter and receiver and the sound reproduction with the included phones is decent enough for a singer to use, however I would definitely recommend spending some extra cash on a good set of phones. I use Shure SCL3.

Using good phones means you get to appreciate that the system itself has really good sound quality from lows to highs, although (speaking as a bassist) the bass is perhaps a little lacking compared to some of the +£100s more expensive models.

The unit would be better kept in a rack rather than setting up every gig. We've not done that and you tend to notice that there's a price element built into the construction.

All in all though, unless you're going to be playing in situations where the available frequencies will be a limitation, there's no reason why this system plus some quality phones won't be every bit as good as other systems costing loads more.

Good system, easy to set up and use
Bassman Banks 15.05.2013
For a low piece point this IEM system is very good value. In the UK new legislation means that unlicensed use is restricted to Channel 70 (863 - 865) and this unit fits the bill perfectly. We run 3 systems on different frequencies simultaneously with no cross talk whatsoever. Sound quality is good through the ear phones supplied but I have twin driver custom made ones and the sound is awesome! UK customers please note that the mains adapter supplied has Shuko (European) plug so you will need a converter.

Using mainly in rehearsals - great radio stability, minimum of background noises. Paired with Fender IEM earphones - great value for that price.
Pros: Easy to setup, limiter, possibility to operate more units at time, price, rackmount kit included
Cons: Low volume (needs to be adjusted in mix/eq settings)

T
Great place to start in the IEM market.
TomC94 15.05.2013
My band bought this system about a year and a half ago and since this time we have been hooked on in ear monitors! This product is priced just right and is certainly worth a buy! One criticism is that we go through belt packs like tic tacs!! they aren't built to be very strong and they constantly have to be sent to and fro back to Thomann because when they fall off a belt pack they simply stop working! However, thats why you have a three year warranty!!!!

Good value IEM system
Steve84 14.05.2013
This is my first IEM system. I wasn't sure how I'd like using IEMs for DJing (getting used to it now) so didn't want to spend too much, so this has been perfect. I only tend to need a few metres of range but it goes much further and the sound is perfectly acceptable. I can hear a bit of hiss but it's easily drowned out when any music's playing or by background noise during gigs. It must use some kind of compression because the sound sometimes "pumps" a bit, but it's not a major problem and I suppose it helps keep the levels in check.

Good value for this price
Ints 26.06.2020
It?s a cheap but okay monitoring system that does it?s job.
Cons - some hum and some crackle but it does not disturb while playing. Oh and forgot about those earphones that come with the product.
Pros - price, easy to handle, does it?s job.
If you don?t have a 1000 EUR to buy Senn. or Shure, there is your solution.

Good straightforward and reliable

It took a little while to get the mix right in the desk and to send the correct signal, but it makes such a difference to monitoring your sound.

One of the band has custom IEMs and plugged those into the pack and they sounded immense.

The bundled IEMs are pretty good, but they don't isolate loud exterior sound and have a tendency to fall out.

I shall be getting some moulded buds to rectify this, so its a great way to start IEM.

Mains adapter has a two pin continental plug, which is a bit disappointing.

Incredible Start to IEM for the money.
Sean301 04.06.2013
Used every week since purchase. A really solid leap into the in ear monitor market and easy to add to with additional receivers. The construction could be stronger but overall a great product
