For this price could be better
Artyom Donka 20.07.2021
I tried to use them for the monitoring purposes during recording.

Cons:
* They won't seat firmly on my big head, and they would fall of of the smaller head I guess.
* Cheap and squeaky plastics. I think they look cheap too. Sorry thomann!
* The sound is poor, but it's kinda flat though.
* They would not give you good noise isolation.
* I had to repair them once (cable inside), though I used them not a lot.
* I think for this price of ~25 eur one could have a better product these days.

I would not recommend them.

Average quality for the price
KennyB 16.08.2018
I have owned these headphones for three or for years, and although they worked perfectly okay over that time, they have not lasted well with age. The ear padding has cracked and split throughout and is flaking off. Also, the right channel has just ceased working, in common with several other reviews on this same product. If you want something which will still be in decent condition a few years down the line, go up-market.

Poor cable strength
Xave 26.10.2013
The phones are great for the price but i need to replace them after 7 months as the cable has an internal break where it enter the actual headphone itself. This means the left ear is not working and only getting sound from the right.

AB
Loud without distortion
Ale Brukman 28.07.2022
If you are looking for a pair of headphones that can play loud without distortion, this is a very good choice.

I am and audio engineer, I wouldn't use them for mixing or mastering (perhaps just to check a mix afterwards), the sound is too "midrangy" and to my ears not very pristine for making mixing decisions.

That being said, I checked the technical specifications of this headphones and they are comparable with the legendary SONY MDR7506 (which I also own). I compare them just to be sure that the loudness would be comparable with a professional pair of headphones, and I have to say they are equally loud.

Since they are rather affordable, they are made entirely of plastic which of course doesn't look fancy nor sturdy. However, they are quite comfortable I must say.

The cable is quite long, comparable in length with the classic Sennheiser HD 202.

Anyways, if you are looking for a pair of headphones to listen to music, to connect to a keyboard or an e-drumset that are fairly loud with no distortion this is your choice.

J
Pleasantly Surprised
Jazznasty 05.11.2020
It's got great clarity but I find the low end is quite lacking, my headphone amp has eq so not a problem

Bought as cheap tracking headphones for band scenarios as I don't have the budget for higher end headphones when 8 pairs are needed

Combined with a headphone amp these can get loud enough for drummers, I swapped with the drummer (as we were just jamming with the mics set up to test it) and the volume nearly took my head off, still no distortion

How long they'll last I don't know but it's cheap enough to just buy another pair, it'd be nice if they had a detachable cable but at this price what's the point

I got these for "free" when buying a bundle, and there's a reason for them being an extra. Honestly, if you are browsing this site you have no reason to buy them as is. Invest a bit more and you'll get headphones that actually have some proper use.

They are "ok" for listening what's going on, but should not be used for any other purpose, as the sound is not something to be praised for. I'd say that giving them to a band member to follow the click is what they are meant for, but even then, you should warn them not to shake their heads too much as the headphones are not too stable staying at your head. The parts over your ears are quite heavy to the contrast of the strap, reducing the comfort drasticly. But, they are not too tight, I'll give them credit for that.

While my words may sound harsh, it was what I expected and they worked just fine using them for personal training with e-drums. All I really asked for was them to deliver sound, which they did, on a reasonably high volume I might add. But the thing I was very disappointed of was the product quality. It took less than 2 months for them to break without any kind of ill-usage. They were stored on top of the drums in apartment, and I did not even disconnect them after plugging them in once I had assembled the kit.

While they were free for me, I still don't think that something like that is acceptable. Taking in account all the other negative things they have, I couldn't even be bothered sending them back, as they really serve no rational purpose.

I was disappointed, and didn't even pay for them. You shouldn't invest one cent in these.

the t.bone HD 880

the t.bone HD 880 is a cheap option for studio headphones. Price is only around 25€ but the quality is way better than you could think of getting in this price range. Of course you could get better headphones with bigger stack of gold , but for this price they are good! t.bone HD 880 comes with 3m cord which gives you movability. The sound is clear and sharp. The overall quality is good for normal studio work. If you want cheap option for good studio headphones, I would recommend these. I've been using these for a year now and they work great! Highly recommended!

Good choice!
ratmonka@gmail.com 14.01.2019
I've been using these headphones for about 5 years now and the first thing I want to say is that they have so good durability and built quality. For this price is quite unique. Not a sign of scratches or cracked plastic. The sound from this headphones is very natural and uncolored which is so important for my in the recording process. Cable lenght is optimal for the purposes.
Cons - They're could be more comfortable because after 2-3 hours of wearing them head is getting to be itchy.
All in all - Would I buy it again? Certainly Yes and I highly recommend if you are not willing to spend the triple amount of money for basically the same gear.
