Good choice for this price range
Azazello 27.05.2018
I'm using this to drive hifi speakers at home.
CONS: this unit was clearly conceived to be used in PA applications. It fits in 2 rack units, has separate volume controls for the two channels and no other controls on the front panel. It has a vent which is relatively quiet for its intended purpose, but extremely noisy for home or studio applications.
PROS: while lacking in controls, the unit has many configurable options on its back panel, including input sensitivity, a ground/lift switch, an automatic standby option and very good connectivity. The vent can also be easily disconnected with almost no risk, for low power usage (ie driving small hifi or studio speakers.

I'm using this to drive two Mission LX-2 monitors. I wouldn't recommend it for serious studio applications, but it does serve its purpose extremely well for its price and while I'd rather use a more high-end amp I can definitely see myself mixing on this configurations no less than I do on monitors in a mush higher price range (Yamaha HS series, Adam F series and so on).

Plus, the unity looks rather well built to me.

Good Amp, Shame it has such a bad earth :(
Anonymous 17.11.2015
Was using this amp originally to drive tweeters in bi-amped hi-mid cabs, but this amp picks up even the slightest thomann earth interface! And makes a huge pop when turning the unit on or off with the dials up or midway, to a point that it blew all four tweeters! Also the heating in the venue we use it in has a thermostat with a relay and the amp thomann pops every time the heating turns on and off! It might be a fault with the amp I brought maybe? Plus I have the older version of the amp. But if using on some cheap 10 inch full range cabs its alright and has a nice but of thomann power behind it, even though its 120w a side, it sounds a lot more! Shame it has these small faults. It now justs sits in the rack as an emergency amp if all fails!

Auto stand-by a problem
AnthonyQ 01.10.2013
Great little amp but the auto stand-by feature is a pain especially for a theatre. Cuts out after just five minutes of no/low signal and then takes 3-5 seconds to kick back into operation, not great for sound effects. On the plus it is a powerful little girl and sounds fantastic.

Good Quality Product with few missing features
safdar 06.08.2021
If the microphone input would have built in pre-amp or phantom power, that will remove the need to have additional mixer connected.
I needed to use this with PA system to make announcements and play some music.
Everything worked well until I found the surprise that mic need additional pre-amp.

Ive seen better
Anonymous 08.10.2014
I guess you cant ask for much from this small little amp... except that Ive had another one before - same model - and it broke after two years. schematics and support is almost inexistent so dont expect to fix it if it ever goes bad... just buy new one which i think is a waste of parts and not very friendly to the environment.

works good, but...
Francisco Hartung 23.07.2022
i plugged it in to a furman M-10Lx E, which have a PC, and an Presonus plugged in, and even though every fader in the mixer is turned to - infinity, it still sends a digital noise to the speakers, annoying, but workable.
