the t.racks Power 8 S

I like the layout, a single switch in the front and 8 plugs on the back.
Couldn't be simpler than this, the plugs fit in snug and happy, the power cable is very thick and I think it will never break down.

At the moment I'm using two of these - one as a main powerstrip for my desk, and a second one at my bands IEM rack. It's nice to minimalize the clutter of cables to just one power inlet for driving a whole rack of gear (a big mixer, two ADAT preamps, 4 IEM units, and a USB interface). Only downside I could think of is the placement of the cable, and the sole fact, that it's permamently fixed, but given that it's not a really big issue.

Good 19” switchable power supply for powerplugs with earth connection. I personally use it for my servers but these power supply’s are of course suitable for any kind of function. Plugs do not pop out during use which I do have experienced when using cheaper versions. The mountings on each side are extremely useful, not only in a 19” rack. The only bit odd thing is that the switch is on the backside, something to get used to, but only if you switch off your gear regularly, which I do not. Very good product.

I use the strip in my 12U Rack to power up all devices. It works flawlessly and allows to control power to all devices at once. It is very well built and well finished.

While it fits 1U rack mount, the entry slots are angled and thus You need to consider that it would require You to get straight power plugs for Your units, as angled plugs would not fit the 1U space.

This is the 3rd one I buy. Works as expected, just don't daisy chain them

Mainly got this to reduce loose power strips in my rack setup and to have a main power switch at the front of the rack and it works perfectly for these things. The build quality is fine for something that will stay in a rack.

I use this in my preamp rack to power most of my studio gear.
It works exactly how it should with no problems so far with reliable power and the button on the front panel makes it easy turn off and on.
The supplied holes for rack mounting make it possible to mount to your preamp rack and the simple black colour looks nice and sleek to blend in with your other studio gear.
Would highly recommend for studio use!

It's just a power strip, and works fine (until now) but the rack brackets are very cheap and the entire build is a little plasticky.
It's not supposed to be built like a tank, I know. But considering this is a rack unit, it has to be more resistant to heat, which doesn't seem to be with this build.
But, I might be wrong. I will review this again in a year.
