About what I expected for its price
MykeB 23.04.2018
Reading other reviews and taking into account the price, this system is about what I expected. The earbuds that come with it are pretty poor but just about usable so expect to upgrade these. Sounds great through better quality buds and decent headphones. Tested initially at home and had no real problems even when 30 metres away in the garden, even though the transmitter was behind a solid brick wall and glass patio doors. Tested again at a live gig working maximum 15 metres from the transmitter and did get a few short RF bursts despite changing the channel a couple of times. This was probably due to radio mics being used at a nearby venue. It is a bit of an experiment really, I am a mobile karaoke operator and I am using the system to offer people who have hearing problems more clarity and a better experience than performing with just the sound from the speakers (LD Maui 28's). One person used the option on the night and was over the moon with being able to hear the music and their vocal so clearly, so very promising so far.

Very good and affordable
Mubs 20.04.2015
I bought a few of the t.bone IEM 75's about 6 months ago now and I'm absolutely delighted with them!
They were originally bought for practice, so that a band could rehearse without using a PA system for which they worked like a charm. I have even used them for a few gigs for which they gave me no hassle.
The quality of the ear plugs arent amazing, they kind of sound like they are missing a bit of the top end, but they are really loud. As for the overall sound quality, not 100% clear, there always seems to be a slight hiss, especially if the volume of the sound going into the broadcast box is low, but i didn't find this to be a huge issue, they are definetely usable and are definetwly worth €100. We had three of them running at the same time in a very small room and had no problems with interference on different channels. The batteries last a few hours in the receiver, the screen flashes red when the battery is low then you have anything up to an hour before they go completely. The broadcast box feels really sturdy as its made of metal. The receiver on the other hand feels a bit flimsy, especially the little antenna, but as with all things if you take good care of it it won't break. I was pleasantly surprised with the range of them - I had to use the restroom while in a rehearsal studio one day which was a good 200 meters away from the broadcast box and down a few flights of stairs, to my amazement I could still hear my band rehearsing the whole time I was gone.
All in all... very happy with these.

P
Good starter IEM
Pete19 15.11.2021
Excellent sound quality and I had a faultless signal all night. I did receive some interference on one Channel so switched to a different one and then no further problems.
The Body pack does feel a little cheap but as expected at this price point.
A strange phenomenon I found was if you bang or tap the body pack it comes through the headphones, I thought that was a little odd. Otherwise though great unit and very very pleased.

C
Quality on a budget
Christopher3240 13.06.2014
I purchased this IEM for a singer working in small clubs where the in-house monitor systems are usual dreadful. Working with very limited budget, I thought I'd give these a go, not expecting much, but how wrong can you be.
I've found these excellent value for the money. There has so far been no interference during a gig, even when outside a main taxi rank.
The sound quality is better than I expected at this budget, and with very easy set up. It has also doubled up as a preamp for drummers headphones using the phones out on the base unit - very handy.
The only slight negative side is it slightly too easy to change frequency on the receiver while reaching for the volume pot, but once the singer gets used to this, it no longer becomes a problem.
Over all an excellent budget IEM for anyone working at small clubs etc.

At this price, you can't go wrong....

This must be the most reasonably priced IEM on the market. I cannot get my head around why Shure and Sennheiser can charge so much more.

I use this on a regular basis as a gigging vocalist, so always in a live music setting.

Its an excellent piece of kit. Does exactly what you want it to.

Ok, so the build quality is a little bit plasticy, but at this price, all is forgiven. You won't notice this at all once in performance.

Sound wise, I've had a few issues with a loose connection in the headphone socket, but, once I fixed this, the sound is great, especially at this price. It has saved me from destroying my voice on many occasion.

If you have never used an IEM before, this is the perfect unit for you to see what its like. Mine is still going after 2 years and I've yet to feel the need to upgrade.

My one request would be that Thomann sold this in alternative frequency bands (maybe they now do and I haven't checked).

It works very well at small live clubs!! I don t have use it
at bigger clubs but don t forget to put the antenna... Without antena, there s a lot of interupts...!! If you put it, it s ok !! Just on time at live show, I had some interupt sound, because I was going close to the drummer and the audience was 200 people.. So the wirelless system has a lot distance from me because it was close to the sound man at console, and I was on stage close or beside the drummer, bettween us was 130 people and the roof was not not high...!!
Generally is a good choice for small lives at small clubs for sure, and I m always use it!!!

Excellent value but poor for bass
Anonymous 13.05.2015
An excellent budget product offering great value. Sadly, the sonic performance for bass frequencies is quite poor so bass players beware. If you're a guit/vox artist on a tight budget, then this system is an absolute bargain.

H
Used in Live setting
Hellpup20 11.12.2019
Pros:
- Range is good, better than I though - no signal loss.
- Easy to handle, straight forward.
Cons:
- Build quality comes with the amount of money you want to pay for equip and the Tbone IEM 75 lacks a bit here.
- Purchased the Shure Se215 to replace the pair that comes with this set.
- Sometimes you can hear a "hiss" and I don't think its the headset as I've used a different pair.

Overall, I recommend for small venues, new start up bands.

Thomann review:
- Prompt and fast as usual, all good here.

H
Well worth the price
HugoJ 16.02.2016
I'm a singer/guitarist, and my biggest concern was being able to hear myself without having way too much feedback on my mic. My vocals are not quite potent, so I'm quite prone to getting signal from the guitar amps, and of course my vocal monitor.

Having a limited budget is the keyword here. I'm not a professional artist, so having a high-end ( and considerably more expensive) gear feels like an unnecessary step to take at this point, so along comes the the t.bone IEM 75.

I've been using the system for a couple of months now, and it does what it's supposed to, and it does it well. Maybe I had very low expectations given the price, specially when compared with the likes of Sennheiser and Shure... you know, the "big guys", but after setting it up ( which was rather simple), I have to say I was slightly impressed by the sound. I was expecting a very limited signal in terms of frequency range, pretty much radio-like, but it was not the case. The bass is good enough, and the high frequencies are OK.

With the provided earphones you get some sort of hiss on the top-end, but a quick test with a better pair of earphones reduced this quite a bit. Another thing to have in mind regarding the provided earphones: they drop quite easily with the slightest movement. Even though they don't sound bad actually, then again they move easily, so even if they don't snap out of your ear at the very least you'll lose the insulation, and you'll stop hearing the low frequencies.

I upgraded the earphones to Shure SE215, which are designed to keep in place, allow mobility and facilitate your performance.

I
Pretty good for the money
IvanKalinin 05.05.2021
I'd used much cheaper system previously and surely IEM 75 never disappointed me in terms of sound. Of course, I do not use earphones that came along because instead I have Shure 215.
If you have wonderful Gator bag that is on sale as well, I guess overall experience will be quite pleasant.

However, I bumped into a problem of receiver sucking batteries surprisingly quickly. It might have been the issue of batteries themselves, I'll keep trying other brands, but still it's worth mentioning that I utilized two pairs in one gig once.
