tc electronic MojoMojo

I had this pedal for years now but it just doesn't work well for me. It's muddy, unfocused, the EQ never gives me a usable sound. Just like the Dark Matter it sounds the same on any amp. It floods/drowns any other items in your rig that otherwise would have contributed to your final sound.

TC Electronic makes some nice effect pedals and I've got quite a few of them, but this (and the Dark Matter) ain't one of the good ones.

The build quality of the pedal is outstanding though.

Gear used:

PRS 7 string and ibanez 6 string
ENGL amp

Was looking for an overdrive pedal. Having other tc electronic pedals which I really like, I was interested in the mojomojo. Saw so many good reviews abut this pedal so decided to buy one.

First impression.....sooooo muddy on chord work and base notes. The voice switch and base knob did not correct the muddy sound. Nice fat lead tone on high notes but unusable on low chord work. Was very let down and had to return it back.
