great build quality, good chorus -but..
tmsmtz 07.04.2022
just not what I expected. I am not really a chorus guy, and have been reading about the pedal on which this TC pedal obviously is based. So I thought this could give me a subtler type of chorus effect. In my opinion, the effect is pronounced even at the lowest settings and sounds very much just like a regular good chorus. Pushing different button configurations, didnt yield countless soundscapes, it just sounded like different levels of depth. Either way, probably a great chorus pedal, just not what I was expecting. Should also mention, that good pedals at this price point is a rare thing.

Love it
doomood 11.03.2022
Quite a good Dimension C clone, with a few great set-and-forget sounds, simple and useful, sounds great with distortion, too. A total steal for the price. My few objections are: 1) I wish it had a smaller footprint, 2) having LEDs on the switches would be nice, 3) I wish the footswitch was better, feels a bit flimsy (it's not like the real "loud click" hard switch type) and 4) although it feels solid like a tank, quality control should be better - the 1st button on my unit is a bit more prominent and is not on the same height as the three other. I opened the housing and tried pushing it back in, but couldn't get the desired result so I left it as it is fearing it may break.

80s sounding distortion, but not a Dimension-C clone
Anon-e-mus 25.09.2021
This is a nod to the classic Boss Dimension-C used on many famous 80s tunes. The style and concept is the same, but the sound however is not.

There are 4 buttons going from mild to a more intense, chorus, but nothing gets out of control or "seasick" and all presets are usable. You can also combine the settings to get a total of 16 sounds. The most useful thing is being able to push a button for a predefined preset. This means you don't have to dial sounds in, but on the other hand it gives you less control and you are limited to the settings as defined.

Overall you get a range of bucket brigade style chorus sounds, but there are no depth or speed controls. The sounds themselves are not as lush as you get on the original Boss pedal, but then that is 5x more expensive. For the price it's a good pedal with excellent build quality that will give you some of those 80s vibes.

Buyer beware - this is an always on pedal
SakariK 16.09.2019
It's obvious what this pedal is based on and TC Electronic is not afraid to state that in the name of the pedal.
I have a sort of wet and dry setup going on with two amps and this gives me the always-on chorus sound I want... at 33 euros. In other words, an absolute bargain and everyone, in my opinion, should add this sound to their arsenal.
Did not notice any additional noise added to my signal chain, but the jacks can be a bit loose compared to ones found in more expensive pedals (natural).
The other negative I am going to give this pedal is the size. I wish they could make this in a smaller box.

In summary, pros are:
+ Inexpensive
+ Sound
+ Ease of use

Cons:
(-) Jacks
- Size

J
An interesting alternative to the usual chorus circuits
John3816 13.08.2019
This pedal appears to be a low-cost take on the Boss Dimension C chorus, at least in appearance. There are no knobs, just 4 buttons that can be used in any combination. The sound is subtle, and a nice alternative to the more common types of chorus. And at this price, it's hard to fault it too much.
But I did notice that the input level affects the results - a pair of fairly hot humbuckers on a Les Paul and the output from a Dreadbox Erebus synth both yielded a noticeable pitch shifting. Lower output single coils on a T-Style guitar worked better, and added a subtle widening to the sound.
With a solid-feeling metal construction and a low price, it's worth a look if you want an out-of-the-ordinary chorus effect. But it's definitely in the budget end of the spectrum.

Perfect 80s Chorus
Decca 20.05.2021
It’s been hard to find this pedal in America lately and I’m glad I took the leap to order it from overseas. As soon as I plugged this in and pressed some buttons I found the sound I’d been looking for: a smooth, shimmery chorus that adds movement without drowning the sound in modulation.
It may only be 4 buttons and an on/off switch, but there’s a lot of variation available in combining the sounds. I definitely recommend this if you’re looking for an inexpensive chorus, especially if you’re wary of pedals in plastic housing, as this thing is built like a tank.

Awesome simple Chorus
Heldinir 07.04.2022
It does exactly what you’d want from a Chorus. Several combinations allows it to go from subtle ambience to really washy chorus.

I bought this because I wanted a simple, affordable chorus pedal and it's exactly that. Very happy with it.

Fine but not great
Downer 17.05.2021
I'm not blown away by this pedal. I would love to compare it to the original Boss Dimension and see how it holds up. Unfortunately I am too cheap to buy one. But I should think the Boss sounds a bit more inspiring. Otherwise, a fairly pleasant chorus with not a lot of depth or modulation. Build quality is OK, metal housing is good. Switch feels a bit scratchy. Fine for the price but if you want the proper Dimension sound you might just have to buy that instead.

Works well on bass
Claret91 30.07.2019
Fantastic subtle (for bass at least) chorus.
Easy to use, sounds good, and feels solid.
Could be improved with LEDs to show which buttons are pressed, but for the price, I can't complain at all. I would recommend to anyone.
