Ok Humidifier

I bought this for my taylor 114ce.
Pros.
It does not leak. It is very easy to use and you really see when it needs to be refilled as it warpes around it self. It is easy to but in the guitar hole and hangs on the strings in the soundhole witch brings me to the con.

Cons.
The humidifier hangs on the strings. I see significant wear on the 2 strings it hangs on. All the other strings were fine. but the 2 middle ones I hangi it on have signs of wear. Think it has something to do with the moisture that builds on the plastic guard that you hang it on.
That being told I it happend over 6 months so the strings where in for a change anyways.. I just thought it was stranges that it was so mush more there.

It does it job and yes I would recoment this. Where else can you hang a humidifier in the soundhole of a guitar then by the strings. If you change the strings every 2 months or every month like some people I know you will never see this.

Easy to use and safe inside your Precious Acoustic Guitar
Strummer07 04.05.2017
A good bit of kit ! Neat and nicely fits onto the guitar in-between the guitar strings (Over the sound hole area) as it sits inside the case. filled with water absorbing crystals - so any leakage is totally reduced / eliminated altogether. The Unit "Tells" you when it needs replenishing as it sort of crunkles up !!, Its so much easier to use than "Dampits" or the soundhole thingy that came with my Gibson J45 when it was new. ( But thank you Gibson for providing something -
Unlike Martin who give away absolutely nothing !!!) Well worth having for those times (Even in the UK ) when you get a real dry spell or the Central heating is belting it out - Recommended

Best humidifier around
PaintItAcoustic 10.04.2018
Using this humidifier in my guitars, working perfectly. I tried sponge humidifiers before, they spill, hard to determine an amount of water needed and you must store your guitar case horizontally which is not comfortable in small space, especially if you have multiple instruments.
Oasis humidifier (I don't know why they call them "Taylor", it's Oasis company who makes this humidifier and it's their brand on the package) eliminates all these problems, no spills, no storing issues, you don't have to take it out and it humifies well.
Important note for people new to this type of humidifier: you must replace crystals every two years, after two years of using they stop working and it will spill. So make sure to replace crystals timely.

Not the solution..

Not happy at all with the purchase of this product: it lasted only one winter, and then it completely deteriorates and is not usable the following year (and I'm not even convinced of the usefulness it had during this winter...) :-/ Take care of your instruments by putting them directly in a suitable room, but not by using a work around like this one.
