Quality solid support
Anonymous 24.03.2017
This goes on my Lowden F50 every time I practice. Instead of a foot stool or strap to raise up the guitar, I sit up straight resting it on my legs with my feet flat on the floor. I was hooked the first time I used it.

It?s a straightforward functional design, the metal construction is built to last. There?s one adjustment screw that controls the height and it?s angle, where it?s placed on guitar itself is another variable. There?s a strip of foam where it rests on your leg which is comfortable. It was scary the first time attaching suction cups to my guitar, not a mark left so far. The weight is spread over two points which I prefer.

It?s noticeable visually while using it if that matters. It doesn?t collapse or fold up, that and the suction cups stick out over the metal bits, making it awkward to carry around. When clean the suction cups hold tight, but if there?s any grease or dirt they will pop off.

I bought the Ergoplay Professional and love it, but I also turned around ordered a smaller more portable support for gigs.

Great product with reservations.

This is a great product and I love it but it does not work on guitars with open grain sides. They do supply stickers to apply to the sides of your open gained guitar and this is supposed to give the suckers a smooth surface to stick to but they do not work. There is still enough undulations on the surface to mean that the suckers fall off after a very short time. I'm getting a solid one for my open gained guitar and hope that works but this product is not suitable.

Good but not perfect
ichou 26.11.2021
Bought this to get more comfortable support rather than using a foot pedal. It rests comfortably on my lap and I generally don't have any major issues with it other than that the suction cups come off quite frequently. Usually the position of the cups themselves are enough to support the body anyway, but if you move too violently it *will* fall off.

To sum it up: Does exactly what I want it to in a sufficient way, but I reckon it would be too unstable to use for professional performance.

Much more comfortable, I never experienced any back pain playing classical guitar before but this stand has granted me a more comfortable playing position and eliminated the muscle tension required to hold the instrument in place, the Ergoplay Professional does this for me and it's basically invisible!

Solid build. Proper stuff!

Very reliable, strong hold

Works great. Easy to adjust. I've left it attached to my guitar for about half a year by now, and it hasn't fallen off once.

MUCH BETTER PLAYING with the Ergoplay
Russ 30.08.2013
I play regular Jazz gigs mainly with archtops and liked a short strap so that I can get my left hand across all the strings. But the 'pull' of the strap sometimes impeded technique. Not so with the Ergoplay. The guitar sits perfectly and even the other guys in the band noticed the immediate improvement in my playing. The only teeny weeny grumble would be that the Ergoplay doesn't dismantle sufficiently to fit comfortably in the guitar case.

The Ergoplay costs about the same as a decent strap, but to my mind is a much better investment.

Put the footstool away :)

Ensures the ideal position of the instrument during playing. Great workmanship. Procurement of spare vacuum plugs was offered. The only drawback of this aid is that it does not fit in a guitar case :)

Can't go wrong
Doctor Fuzz 13.10.2020
This is the first support I've tried for classical guitar. It's one of those products that make so much sense when you get it. It's simple and quick to set and noticeably makes playing much more comfortable. It barely adds any weight and slips off easily too. You really can't go wrong.

Like But Not Like
DougChambers 13.11.2021
Like - when i have the guitar in the position i want the Ergoplay holds my guitar well.
Not like - I have to use the clear pads provided as it will not stick to the matte finish on the La Mancha Rubinito CM63, and when it does it will not stick for long.
