Tama QC8 Quick-Set Cymbal Mate

Bought them as replacement for my Mapex B200 Boom stands.
Turns out these stands are 6 mm and not 8 mm.
Kept these clamps as backup for stands that came with a Pearl Export.
They work on those.
Can hold the cymbals tight, though I haven't used them much.

The advantages of quick release cymbal clamps are obvious. However, in the case of this one, the spring is not stiff enough, so with big heavy cymbals the clamp creeps up the post and the clamp can fly off (happened to me more than once). For smaller, lighter cymbals and splashes, it does the job fine.
Frankly, there are better alternatives from other manufacturers.
