Really neat way to split TRRS signals to get them in an out of professional gear

I am currently using two of these to split TRRS signals into and out of DI channels to connect them to professional gear while killing ground loop noise.

I have made up one TRRS to XLR cable for each channel, picking up the appropriate signal in the TRRS.

This is more flexible and neater than splitting everything on a hardwired patch panel or putting a box onto the cable with one TRRS and 3 XLR connectors.

Note: on most TRRS connections you need will to put about a 10K shunt resistor between mic and ground (to convince the PC/iPhone etc that there is a mic present) and run the signal through perhaps a 1uF ceramic cap (to block the bias voltage provided to power headset mics).

Acquistato insieme al classico multiplo a stella che tutti conoscono sempre su thomann, si è rivelato un discreto acquisto, anche se a livello colori non ci sono scelte e per quanto riguarda la qualità dei materiali è più economico (anche se parliamo di dettagli) e si vede, direi che il suo lavoro lo fa, senza troppi problemi...un must have per i modularisti, utilissimo quando si hanno selve di cavi patchati e non si capisce nemmeno più se si hanno multipli disponibili e dove sono....prendi la stellina, infili i cavi e via!
