good cheap headphones.. but not for the listening pleasure..
Anonymous 20.01.2016
I got these headphones to monitor my guitar sound for the rare occasions that I play through a sound-card interface into my computer, or to use them on a guitar amp when I am practicing home late at night and not wanting to disturb anyone. For those practical purposes (when professional monitoring or high quality sound is not needed), they are alright at this very low price.

They are also comfortable on the ears as the paddings are quite decent for such inexpensive headphones. The "hold" is a bit tight on the ears, but with a little counter stretching of the hard plastic on the top part of the headband carefully (without breaking it!) the pressure on the ears can be reduced.

The cable and the mini jack are also looking quite sturdy, and do not look likely to have defects any time soon. The cable is long enough to use with a device close by, but just short enough to not get in your way with a guitar at hand.

I tried these headphones also on a very nice stereo system with a "class A" amplifier and high quality CD player, using a jack adapter (not included) playing a couple of CD's with well defined musical sound, and that was just "okay", much like the sound of stringy headphones that come with smart phones. Plus they do let out quite a bit of sound at high volumes to the environment.

Basically, these are good enough headphones to use for practical purposes and simple applications, but if you are looking for a near professional sound you have to check the ones starting around low three digit prices, or spend at least about 35 euros or so on a Yamaha, Roland, Pioneer, Sony etc., for any kind of audio listening pleasure.

Amazing value headphones
Anonymous 21.03.2015
What a surprise! I purchased these to keep in my gig box, to use to check on recordings from my Zoom H1. They had to be decent quality, foldable and cheap. Well, they are foldable, they're certainly cheap, but the quality is superb. I was absolutely amazed at how clear and accurate they are. You could spend a load more money on 'phones and not get anything much better than these. They're nicely padded, sturdy, have a fairly lengthy chord and even come with a little nylon bag to keep them in. My only criticism is that they are a ittle tight, although I do have a large head (or so I've been told!) I'm hoping that this eases with a bit of wear, but it's hardly a huge issue. We've all had cheapo headphones that sound like angry wasps in your ears, but these are nicely detailed with a good (but not overloud) bass response. I'm impressed.

If you are into good sound, do not buy these. The frequencies are very weird, even when listening to podcasts. The build quality is OK, but not the sound.

Didn't like the sound at all but sister-in-law didn't seem to mind. For the price they were worth trying to find out that they weren't worth bothering with again.

Great headphones.

These headphones are great. The sound quality is spot on and they are very comfortable to wear. Great for the studio and even for watching movies or whatever on the laptop. I have not got much experience with higher end headphones but the price is right with there and you get plenty of bang for your buck.

Rather tight on the head, but OK for the price. Not really tried on location yet, but they seem OK so far.

Surprisingly good product for the money. I use it primarily with editing the material on the Zoom H4N. also started using it with the Nord 61 to listen to the tracks on my smart phone and work out my KB Parts.
