I have used this for vocals only, live and in the studio when close to a noise source.
Very balanced proximity effect and off-axis response. Styling, weight and handling is very good.
It actually suits my voice well, light male tenor, and adds a bit of weight as a dynamic mic usually does. I much prefer the sound to the SM58 but if you want to avoid pops and blasts then good technique and some kind of pop filter is required.
Overall, I'm very happy with the product for the money just that you should expect to add a bit of 'air' eq and deal with the popping, with that taken into account, it's a very useful mic.
