Stairville LEDBNC Gooseneck Lamp

First look at it was very positive, looked nice and well built. But when I connected it in the back of my audio rack, it wasn't so charming anymore.

Pros:
It does give quite a bit of light

Cons:
The gooseneck does not hold its for AT ALL. I had to tape it to the rack's wall so it wouldn't fall down.
Also the light flickers quite noticeably.

But for what it's worth, it illuminates the back side of my audio rack and that's what matters.

It's a great lamp and shines like a beacon but it swivels and there is no way of locking it into place. The swivel is quite loose too. I have it in my rack using the Furman BNC lamp connector but whenever I get into the right place shining on to the internals, it just flops down like a babies arm. I have had to duct tape it into place.

Find it useful on my SimExpression Desk but still would need another lights to light up all the console but overall it does the job.

Initially I was very happy with this product, I use it plugged into our mixing desk which is mounted in an L-Rack case which puts the desk at an angle. After about 2 weeks the rotating BNC connector no longer supports the weight of the light at the angle of the desk so it repeatedly droops and swings down under its own weight. Also the light head is detachable and often gets detached with transportation vibration. When it shines in the right place its a great light

This is a slim and flexible lamp that works fine to light my notes7papers/lyrics during rehersal as well as gigs. A bit more intensive light would have been even better - but this is good enough, at this price
