Practical for a beginner
Anonymous 14.01.2015
It is a solid instrument for a beginner, as mentioned in the title, but we can't go further than that. I must admit that the price for this kind of percussion instrument is a bit higher than I would expect it to be, considering the versatility you can get from it. Either way, as I said, if you're willing to get yourself introducted to this kind of instruments, it's a go. Nothing more, nothing less, than an okay percussion instrument that will get you going, and it could even work in a small live show from time to time, if you know how to handle it correctly.

Very sweet sound

Buy this for a child, the quality is Sonor : very great. Sound is sweet. In combination with Thomann GSG20m Glockenspiel mallet, the sound is lovely. Not aggressive at all. Worth the price. If this may be considered as a toy, it is a professional quality toy then.

bought this for my little girl and she loves it - nice sound, its not comparable with the toy chimes for children!
only minus: no bag or case available. wish there would be a nice case to store it away. but the instrument is very good!

Lovely instrument

Great quality instrument, I used it for many years. The mallets that come with it aren't great but do the job.

Well-tuned and accessible instrument, comfy mallets - a great way to introduce your kid to playing music. The only tiny issue - lots of wood dust in the box. But that's probably on the manufacturer, not Thomann.
