so, i thought i'd invest in something solid to house my MOTU 16A interface.
while i haven't taken this out live yet (thanks, covid!) i've no concerns regarding the rack's ability to get my awesome-but-equally-expensive interface to a gig, protect it while there and on the journey home.
it's a solid piece of gear, while remaining light and the handles seem like they'll take the strain of being carried/moved around without issue.
the interface went in easily enough, and the grub-screws provided for fixing it in aren't flimsy or cheap-feeling, even though they're not the big chunky type that are provided with some other racks. i can't speak about how well the cover-latches perform as i've not had any chance to repeatedly take them off/put them back on; but they do feel solid and the covers fit well.
not the cheapest rack you can get, but worth the money especially if you have something expensive/precious/central to your setup that needs carting about on a regular basis.
i'm pleased with it, and don't really have anything bad to say!
