Tinny sound
Anonymous 09.12.2015
Maybe it's my lack of understanding about hardware but surely if you can get decent Hi Fi earphones for this price then why not IEM headphones ?

For some reason you have to spend around ¤300 to get decent quality sound !!

These earphones have only "one driver" and therefore have very little low end. Everything sounds very tinny.

Anyway... I used them a couple of times on stage and in rehearsal but the sound quality just doesn't do it for me (I'm the vocalist and guitar player). I reckon I should have bitten the bullet and spent a few quid more for a better set.

DISASTER EARPHONES
cutedaddy 15.01.2018
These in-ears seem totally ideal at first glance: detachable (=replaceable) cables, pivoting cable connection, behind-ear wire to improve support of the position in your ear, and everything looks well designed en well executed. Also you receive two different kinds of earplug-cushioning, both kinds in three sizes. This is a really well thought-out and complete setup, save for the fact there's no remote switch in the cables. But these can be replaced, so that problem can be solved.
Alas, upon trying them, the sound was really below expectation. Thin in the bass and really harsh in the upper midrange, offensive even. On top of that, the seemingly ideal method with the wire behind the ear turned out to be (in this case anyway) a lot of hassle. It's endless fumbling before the phones are in, and once they were in, they just would'n stay in place, whatever i tried. They didn't fall out, on account of the behind-ear wire, but they did keep coming undone, ruining the isolation and making the thin bass even thinner.
I am sending these back in favor of some Fender in-ears, see if those are any better.
The Pioneer over-ear i got from Thomann a while back, at 85,= euro i believe, have a way better sound at a lower price, AND have remote switch in the cable. I'd recommend the Pioneer over these anytime.
