One of the best bridge pickups you can put on a strat
CreepBG 17.07.2021
I put this on a Fender Player Series Stratocaster from 2018 (MIM).
No matter if your Player Series Strat is in SSS or HSS configuration, it will fit without additional work, as they route all the Player Series Strat bodies for H-S-H configuration. You will need a new pickguard, even if your Player series Strat is in HSS config. as the Fender pickup has 3 screws and this one only has 2 (don't let the pictures fool you, it's not the same as the Fender pickup).
Sound wise, this is great sounding humbucker, but if you don't want it to sound too flat, consider also changing the pots from 250K to 500K.

B
Versatile pickup
Belgian 17.09.2018
I installed this pickup in my Mexican blacktop telecaster.
The 'trembuckers' are meant for tremolo equipped guitars, but most fender hardtails also use the same string spacing. The pickup was installed in an alder body.

Pros:
very versatile, can be used for almost any but the most extreme style
sounds very authentic with a coil split
very clear sounding, even under high gain it doesn't get muddy
fairly high output, mine measured around 16.5 kOhm
Cons:
the screws were too long and the old screws from my HH telecaster were too wide, so I had to shorten the new screws to fit it in the cavity

Sounds great but experienced some quality control issues
GeorgeK2686 09.06.2022
Love the sound and the tonal options of this humbucker.
What I found a bi unfortunate was the cable was protruding where it attaches to pickup so had to file a bit the pickguard to fit it in a way that made sure it will not damage it.

I put it in my HSS strat and it sounds really bright and clear. I like it alot. Great pickup and even more attractive when considering the relatively low cost.

excellent pickup

fantastic pickup, has a strong reputation for a reason. It is very much on the trebly side so won't match any guitar / player.

LC
One of the best metal/rock pickups ever
Leonardo C. 31.05.2013
This is one of the best pickups out in the market for Rock and Metal. Essentially oriented to lead playing it is actually good also for rhythm work, although not very tight. Many metal albums of the 80s have its distinctive sound (e.g. Megadeth).
I love this pickup because it has a kind of "lyric" tone, where most of Di Marzio PU have a distinct "vocal" voicing. Lead sounds are aggressive and they really cut through, although they stay round. I often heard that this pickup is like a fruit knife in comparison for example to the Duncan Distortion (a Katana) and I think that this is exactly the right description.
Overall the pickup is on the bright side. I fit it into an alder guitar with ebony fretboard and maple neck. Somebody could call it "icepicky" with this configuration, but still sounds beatiful.
On a warmer wood it gets kind of "sexy" tone, rounder but still very present.
Definitely a winner.

Great bridge pickup
Anonymous 19.03.2016
There is a reason this pickup has Jeff Beck name to it.
Versatile and hot with very good definition of the played notes.Clean or distorted it cuts through just as easy.
It was easy choice for me since i had it on my stock Jackson Rhandy Rhoads and was very happy with it.Ordered same pickup to replace stock one on PRS SE and like it.Rock or metal its all there.
