This pickup is really what i wanted to have in my Fender strat mid position. But it's worth to mention that sound is specific, and u should to understand what u want to build with it on ur guitar.

This pickup really screams for lead neck pickup solos ala Dave Murray of Iron Maiden. Cleans have a thick tone not Gibson but not typical Fender either. You will lose some of the Fender duck tone with this pickup but that is the trade off for having thicker sounding more rounded solos using the neck pickup. Fantastic.
