I own an FGN baritone which I use for all drop A stuff, but I just can't force myself to like EMG pickups, especially for mild crunch tone.
So when I found this guitar I decided to give it a try.
It's a really nice playable guitar that doesn't melt under standard A or even drop G tuning but still doesn't feel like you are playing bass. The pickups are decent at overdriven/high gain towns but really stand out at pre-breakup and clean tones. The bass circuit is a very interesting feature, that you have to adjust to.
Overall I really like and enjoy this guitar. IF you aren't looking for a djent machine (which this guitar isn't best suited to be), you want to try a baritone for rock/blues/jazz this is where you should start.
