Guitar: Rivolta Mondata Baritone VII
Radius: 12"
Tuning used: B Standard and A Standard
I've tried Ernie Ball, Elixir and D'Addario Baritone strings but always had an issue with at least one string. Either it wouldn't stay in tune or just sounded dull.
I had seen that Mark Lettieri uses these strings so decided to try them out and they did not disappoint.
I instantly noticed the playability of these strings compared to the others. Really smooth and my fingers glide up and down fretboard as if they had already had Fast Fret already applied to them. Barring chords especially on the higher frets is so much easier and there no compensation in sound.
In B tuning they sound bright and all strings sit together in tune really well.
When I dropped down to A tuning I was even more impressed. The sound became warmer and the lower notes really popped especially when playing some funk riffs.
Would highly recommend these strings and will be purchasing a set for my Fender Telecaster Baritone as well.
