Quality cable, a few issues
alrightguy 23.02.2018
This cable is fantastic, it sounds phenomenal and clear, doesn't tangle and feels weighty and good quality, as expected of planet waves.

The straight jack fits snug into pretty much anything, and actually takes a bit of force to get out which is both good and bad,
The right-angled jack however feels really quite heavy and I've had some issues getting it to stay in certain guitars due to the guitar output EG: Ibanez Apex 2 and a Fender Thinline 72 Telecaster (with the older outputs). The jack's housing ends up touching the body and obstructs itself, sometimes falling out or feeling generally loose.

Lastly the circuit breaker switch seems to have taken a turn for the worse since previous models. I purchased this due to a great experience with a friends where the circuit remained broken until a second press, but this cable only breaks while held and its actually quite difficult to hold it tight enough while inputting the jack. The result is an inconsistent break and it often sounds worse than the noise you're trying to avoid with the breaker.

Overall I'd steer clear of the right angled jack or simply switch the ends round and treat it like a normal, high quality cable.

I have never had something from planet waves until this wire came. If you have small space or if you are not the one who likes to go around the scene, than this wire is for you. I like to move a little bit when playing. 3 meters is enough for me.
Well built jacks, I like the way they look! I have a Les Paul guitar and angled jack helps me to forget about the wire and I don't afraid that wire can be broken somehow. Also there is a useful signal switch on the angled side, helps when you need to switch a guitar on stage very quickly.
I am glad with this wire and use it always like a primary in my rig.
But! Sometimes when you place guitar on guitar stand by accident you can put in on this switch and it turns on/off your guitar. So you have be always be sure about switch position. Not a problem for me, best wire I have ever used!

Circuit-breaker is a game changer
NikitaB 21.10.2014
This is the first cable I have had with a circuit breaker - that makes it perfect for changing your set-up (pedals, amps etc.) without hearing a horrible buzzing noise and potentially damaging your equipment. It is also quite handy for recording because you can just kill all of the hum dead. Planet Waves cables are the most durable in my view and this functionality just makes a good product great.

Seems good but....

A while back I had a jack lead with a button like this one. The function was, the button would block the signal so you could unplug and replug without creating a sonic boom. Very useful. This I would have thought did the same... It does, except you have to hold down the button. It doesn't lock do if you're having to use your hands the function becomes useless. It is basically. That said the cable seems a good quality. Though if you don't need the button just get a normal lead

Planet Waves PW-AGRA-10 review
SimoSacco 19.04.2019
Best instruments cable ever.
They are solderless, so when one of them goes bad you can literarly fix it just with a screwdriver and a pair of scissors.
The sound is amazing and they can take a beating.

I usually prefer more flexible cables but the sound quality and the sturdyness make up for that big time.

Great cable
Anonymous 16.09.2014
Probably the best cable I've ever owned. It comes equipped with a circuit breaker button, so you don't have to produce a load of needless noise when unplugging the cable, if you want to switch instruments or something similar, or if you're tuning on stage. All you have to do is a push a button near the plug and all electrical connections are severed. It's as simple as that. Furthermore, this circuit breaker mechanism doesn't involve a spring-loaded breaker, which, in my opinion, makes it superior to other brands, as spring-loaded breakers can often make a high-pitched sound when enabled. Whereas Planet Waves' system is completely silent.
Both the cable coating and the plugs themselves are of really high quality and it seems unlikely that anything will break anytime soon.

Not sure what's wrong
altrig 12.12.2017
Thomann Customer service helped me a lot with this, nevertheless the product is quite different from what I've expected. The Kill-switch needs to be pressed all the time whereas the other versions of it. Now with this being said, the cable is neat and good sounding, but the main feature remain useless for what I wanted, avoid pops. Thanks Thomann customer service again.

Great cables
Jose8462 19.05.2015
Have been using planet waves cables for years, they are very resistant and last ages. Never had any problem with the mute switches, if you have any problems it's easily solved with a cutter and a screw driver which makes it the best cable I know for road use, they can be a little too stiff for some but I really like them like that. The plug is somehow a bit short in this model, I always feel it doesn't go all way through but it stays strong in place, it was once rejected by a stomp box that would not keep it plugged, although it was a very cheap stomp not even mine but that's the only reason I don't give it 5 stars.
I'll still keep using this cables anyway, best I know for price/quality/reliability

Nice product

Thick & sturdy (but also a bit unflexible) cable, no issues so far.Protects your speakers if you (un)plug frequently while switching pedal order/guitars. Like it so much I even bought some spares, hope this remains available/doesn't get discontinued. Would definitely buy this again. If playing seated, you can accidentally hit the switch but not really an issue...
