We use this Hi-Hat in a whole medium set of 900 series mainly for rock drumming.

In my personal opinion it is suprisingly good Hi-Hat, comparable with hi-end series.

Although I was ready to pay more and get more hi-end-ish Hi-Hat into our Paiste 900 series set, it was not necessary, even when i.e. Paiste 2002 and Zildjan K were in the game. It has this legendary classic rock sound, but with some more additional tones and colors in it...and therefore it stands out the crowd a little. Exatly the same applies for the look...which may be not the most important feature, but honestly...for me it is a big part of the game too..
