I am rookie tenor sax player, with the customary Yamaha 6C study mouthpiece, which sounds great and forgiving. I wanted to feel the jazz and I bought the Otto. Wow! Jazz there is. Now it became my standard, versatile, surprisingly forgiving. With a 2.5 or 3 reed, my horn, nothing expensive by itself, sounds as good as those multi thousand euro saxes.
