3. How and where do you attach a capo?

The capo is placed between two frets so that it presses the strings onto the higher of the two frets, making that fret the new 'zero' fret. It's important for the capo to be securely positioned to prevent any buzzing of the strings. At the same time, the pressure shouldn't be too high; otherwise, it stretches the strings, causing them to go out of tune and requiring retuning.
