The metal cap minimizes any electromagnetic radiation that can cause background noise. I recommend using it with Hi-End cables. One of the best XLR connectors. Thank you.

There's no connector like a Neutrik connector! Seriously! They just don't break like cheaper connectors do. Don't waste your money, it's a false economy. Just buy Neutrik and don't look back!
