MXR Phase 90

Well built pedal, but not quite versatile.

I tried exploring the phaser zone with this pedal, but it just wasn't for me. I couldn't make it fit with my general sound inside my setup. I know that there are people who absolutely love this pedal, so I do not want to say it is a crap pedal. Not at all. It just didn't fit for me.

I encourage everyone to try it, explore the sound and maybe for you it would be the thing. Who knows? I mean, in the end it's an MXR, so the build quality and control are very ok. Have fun with this one!

Classic primevil guitar tone value. Very simple, very effective.

The pedal is so simple to use, yet delivers what you would expect from a phaser pedal. The knob is easily adjustable with your foot while you play.

Pro: Simple, little footprint in the board
Cons: It dramatically alters the overall sound, even set at the lowest wavelength. You are also prone to feedback problems.

good pedal, MXR are a fantastic brand BUT on a clean channel the pedal tends to distort when i play harder, which is the most horrible sound ever.

Really love this pedal. It's so simple! Literally a speed knob for your phase effect. Only thing holding me back from giving it 5 stars is that there's no mix/depth knob. The effect can lack in subtley, but apart from that it's awesome! Excellent build quality as well, as can be expected from MXR! A classic pedal.
