Its swell!

I use this for ambient volume swells (with plenty of reverb after) on my guitar for live and studio music.
I bought this as didn't have the space on my pedal board for a massive volume pedal so I decided I would try a much smaller efficient pedal.
It works fantastic and is super simple to use - you will naturally have to adjust the knob to find the right attack/swell setting for you but I found theres generally a sweet spot that will work well across multiple song tempos.
The cost also makes it a no brainer!

Interesting gimmick, but doesn't really work.
MarkJ 08.08.2023
I bought this to make my guitar sound like a cello, which I thought might be interesting. However, it is hard to get the pedal to trigger correctly, and I couldn't get it sounding right despite adjusting both the settings and my playing style. So, after a week on the pedal board, it is now gathering dust in a cupboard!

A nice non-essential but not for swells
Anonymous 19.03.2016
I bought this pedal to see if I could do volume swells without a volume pedal. It's not quite up to the task - keep your volume pedal handy. But it adds some nice options for soloing, doesn't cost much or take up much space, and sounds good in general, so I've kept it.
