Minotaur Bass Strap Brown

One of the best straps I've had (and that was many). It could be finished a little bit more meticulously - there was a stray thread sticking out here and there, nothing that quick and careful lighter action wouldn't sort out (don't do it at home! I don't want to be held responsible). Also, the brand new colour was a tad "fake-y leather-y" in an obvious way. Somehow, that got better over the years, probably by exposure to UV some pigments faded. Now, when it comes to important stuff, this strap delivers. It's comfy, sturdy yet soft enough, carries the weight of heavy basses and spreads it effortlessly. I've had for 6 years now and it hasn't stretched or lose shape, the stitches hold perfectly, the main surface has no cracks and no major scratches either. In comparison, I do have a slightly similarly looking Levy's made of super heavy leather that's equally comfy now, but it needed to be worn and broken in for like a year before getting some softness, it scars more from usage, and it was several times the price of Minotaur.

This is the nicest strap I've owned by far.

I've always had problems with straps digging into my shoulders after a while of playing because I use quite heavy basses.

That is no longer an issue with this beast, the width of the strap distributes the weight nicely across most of my shoulder now. That along with the thick spongy padding offer quality comfort for hours of play time.

The materials and crafting are top notch, it's got a great look and an ever better feel to it.

There are plenty of adjustments that can be made by threading the lower half and there are two buttons for quick changes.

The only thing that I can fault on this strap is the length, I personally like my bass to sit quite high and it doesn't quite make the cut for my ideal position. Saying that I still find myself using it more than those that do fit that position because of how damn nice it is.

Overall, I highly recommend this strap if you're looking quality, comfort and style.

I've had this strap for at least 3 years now, and while i don't carry my bass around as much anymore, it has held up after quite a few shows admirably. more than admirably, actually, as it looks as new.

It does take a little while to really get flexible, but that's to be expected with these materials.

I've relocated the strap knob on my bass so that it points towards my stomach. this prevents the straps from twisting at the end, which i find unattractive and uncomfortable. That was a good idea with this quite wide strap.

This is the first quality strap I have owned. Previously I have bought those for around 15¤, just so I had something to hang my bass on and have always complained about my shoulder hurting after longer gigs, because my Warwick is quite heavy.

The first thing I noticed was that it is made from real leather (I think), it felt awesome, but a bit hard. It suits me really well with its 11cm width and is probably going to get even better after a couple of gigs as it gets a bit worn out.

I really don't have anything bad to say about it, can't wait to wear it on some gigs as it look quite stylish.
