Good for the Money - Not too Loud, smooth sound, light

I bought this to use as an Add on to my percussion set , and I fit it to my cymbal stand adapting the Millenium Cowbell Holder.

I also use it separately in acoustic sets. This tambourine is perfect for a beginner struggling with a bigger and heavier one.

But I would also recommend it if you, like myself I need a tambourine that was not too loud in some live/ acoustic situations or to play at home with an acoustic guitar unplugged , etc.

The sound is very acceptable , clear enough and warmer that the plastic tambourines out there

I am totally satisfied with that and it is very comfortable to use for small gigs.

Not for the hardcore use , or heavy hitter.

Thomann's service was brilliant as usual . received the equipment before the time-frame.

Thank you , and I hope this review help you decide.

At this price , you cannot go wrong.

Cheers.

I read other reviews, that the tambourine is very frail and it is true. It is good for your home use and recordings, but deffinetely not for heavy gigs. Made of plywood, with dents here and there and the finish quality not the greatest, but it otherwise does it's function, just look after it and don't strike it too hard against your palms.

Cheap and fun tambourine, good if you look for something to start experiment with. The quality construction is not the best, as the small rods that hold the cymbals tend to come off after a while, if you play with sticks, and the wood is not very hard.
If you're gentle with it, it should last.

Great value

I use this Tambourine mainly for recording, because I really like the overall sonic balance, and the fact that it's not ear-piercing loud. For the price, amazing buy.
