Feels almos like a scam
Liukke 07.02.2022
I feel very bad giving a harsh review on a Thomann owned brand but...this rack is awful.
First things first...it comes with half of needed screws, only 12, despite saying just "Includes screws" in the description.

If you check carefully one of the photos it shows the "only" 12 screws, it feels like one of those cheap scams because another package of M5 screws costs 3.90€ and of course you end up with MORE than needed.

So if you plan to put serious equipment on that rack (which requires all 4 screws per module) then either buy something else of consider the extra cost.
I thought I was in Germany where things are usually fair but looks like I ended up in a classic American scam...my bad.

Second huge problem, the quality just sucks.
Feels like they coated the paint without caring for the screw threads, which simply don't work.
My whole right side of the rack was a pain in the butt to fix, the screws simply didn't fit in, I had to manually tap the holes with a sharper and specific screw so that it fits...in the meantime I ended up with stripped screws while trying to use the freaking product as intended.

Damn, after almost a decade of doing purchases on Thomann this is the first time I feel embarrassed for them, how can they sell this :/

Works fine, but bring your own screws
Emlyn K Helicopter 07.01.2023
Pros (with caveats):

Construction is solid - heavy duty 3.5mm steel nicely finished with rugged black powder-coating (but see * below). This thing will house a hefty unit on it's top row and not wobble.

30 degree angle great for desktop use (but see ** below).

Cons (with work-arounds):

*As noted in other reviews, the screw-holes must be tapped before use. I used one of the supplied screws to carefully go in and out of each hole - no problems after that. The supplied screws are useless - too soft and WAY too short. On my range of rack gear the thickness of the rack ears goes from 2mm to 6mm, so on even the middle-thickness units the screw only goes into the thread half-way. Thats a recipe for breaking things! Luckily for me I had a bag of spare (longer, harder) screws. For the sake of a couple more Euros they really should give you decent screws, and 24 of them!

**Note that the lowest two or three slots are restricted due to the 30 degree rack - it's not possible to mount anything longer than 12cm on the 2nd row without hitting the legs. But its fine for mounting shallower units - I've put a Behringer Model D (with rack ears) at the bottom and it fits just fine - plus spare room underneath to slide in an old RX-17 drum machine.

Also note that the thin top crossbar obscures the top-most slot. But that isn't a problem if you've already put one or two units in lower down - those plus the main bottom crossbar are all thats needed to make the rack sturdy.

Despite the cons, I'm ordering another one of these (12u this time) as its solid, the angle is just right and its SO cheap!

Great value bit of kit
FOILHAT 30.09.2019
I wanted a rack unit chassis on a budget to hold my two current 1U units, and also future-proof myself for any potential future purchases. I got this with a 2U rack adapter and some blanking panels. I'm pretty impressed with it, it does what it says on the tin and holds my rack units securely, while not looking too shabby at once.

I've not come across anything like this good value anywhere else on the internet, so that's a huge bonus. It seems pretty sturdy for what it is, though I iamgine rack placement is important - I have one comrpessor with a lot of depth, the unit stretches back really far compared to a digital reverb I have, I imagine if I was to place the compressor on top this added depth would maybe this stand a bit top-heavy and at risk of leaning backwards, so I placed it below the other unit. Overall I was very happy with this unit, though I've deducated 1 star because - the top right screw hole from the front of the unit clearly hasn't been drilled properly, I grappled with trying to hand turn a screw in for ages but it kept threading/knackering the head of the screw (and this is a flat-tip, not even philips) so I think it's a lost cause. A small shame about that but doesn't really affect the functionality and at the price I paid, I can't really complain I would recommend this.

Very useful
ElrondSch 08.07.2020
Easy to assemble.
I have three units in it(Scarlett 18i20, Behringer ADA8000, Behringer Power Play 8000). Everything is held in place very well, connects to each other very easily in the back and is carried all together as a single piece very easily.
If you dont need to put more stuff together - then this will serve you nicely.
