Difficult to adjust.
Steven2428 22.06.2018
I found the drum clamp to be difficult to adjust. I could never really set it level, or flat, as I wanted It to be. I wanted to create a flat "table" for a drum machine. I ended up discarding the clamp and only using the Mounting Plate, which worked fine.

Time will tell...

If you're old enough to remember 'pig iron' you'll know where I'm going with this, it's a bit of a rough old piece of cast (drop forged) metal that to look at says "put your valued sample pad here", well that's not happening any time soon...it's probably better than it looks, but im starting to wish I'd bought the millenium percussion pad stand instead...look, it might be fine...or it might not...
I would say look at something a bit more professional grade...your equipment deserves it...

Does the job perfectly
Anonymous 16.01.2017
I use this Multi-Clamp for my Alesis Sample Pad 4 and all I can say is that it does the job very well. I have also bought a second one for my practice kit.

PROS:
Very cheap when compared to other brands
Does the job well
Sturdy and very adjustable

Cons:
Finish is not as great as other big brands
Sometimes fly nuts are a bit stiff to tighten and loosen.

All in all this Clamp does the job very well and I would recommend it for those looking for a cheap yet effective E-Drum multi-clamp . It might not be as refined as other big brands and might also look cheap, but after all it is just a clamp and it works well.

It get’s the job done!
Mikael MJ 11.01.2023
I’m using this to attach my SPD-SX to a cymbal stand. Ihave been using this clamp for a couple og years now, and it works for what it is intended to. It will hold the pad in place, and you can adjust the angle and rotate the pad in the socket. The only thing that bothers me is that the nut and spacer that is used to screw the clamp on to a stand will make the screw go a little sideways and not sit all the way in the slot.
As long as I’m aware of this while i set it up it’s not a big problem, but it is a couse of irritation.

Few positions. Could be longer.

Nice, but for the price could be more flexible. Works great for Nonapad.

Not the best

Good build quality and feels very sturdy, the only issue is that the metal coating comes off on your hands. I'm sure this will go away after a couple of uses.

Issues with angling
FilipH 17.04.2016
The clamp is light and durable. Offers good positioning at a decent price. But I have a problem with getting it perfectly straight horizontally at one joint. I can only do it if the gears of that joint are out of alignment.

Not recommended for Spd-30

Very unstable on a number of different stands with the octopad hooked on it!

Good unit, what about the screws?
TouchTimeRecords 28.11.2016
It's definitely ok, but it would be useful to add the screws, or at least to make it clear that there are none included.
