What can go wrong about these all-metal things?
Not much, so there's not much to look out for when you get this memo clamp, except buying the right size for your purposes.
It's hinged, has no spring, just a screw and a washer.
Those doesn't entirely have to come out if you hinge it around something , but always be gentle otherwise you'll easily lose the tiny screws.
That's about the only complaint about hinged memo-clamps in general: if you fiddle in difficult corners, once in a while you'll be on your hands and knees looking for the screws and springs that fell off..because they're so tiny and it will happen once in a while.
Therefore preferably attach these things beforehand, never in the dark, or on a stage.
